Mission

Helping Seniors Learn Fast Changing Technology

Our mission is to bridge the digital divide by providing compassionate and personalized support to senior citizens struggling with technology such as computers, smart phones, kindle, apps etc. Our goal is to empower seniors to confidently navigate the digital world, fostering independence, connectivity, and lifelong learning. Through our dedicated team of high school student volunteers, we aim to create a welcoming and inclusive community where seniors can access resources, receive personalized assistance, and build essential digital literacy skills. By promoting intergenerational collaboration and understanding, we strive to enhance the quality of life for seniors and promote social inclusion in an increasingly digital society.

Community Engagement and Communication

We aim to introduce seniors to various social sites and platforms where they can interact with others in their age group and beyond. Through forums, social media groups, and virtual meetups, seniors can connect with peers, share experiences, and offer support. Volunteers ensure seniors feel comfortable asking questions and seeking advice. Senior Tech Helper helps seniors stay socially connected and combat feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Senior Tech Helper offers guidance and support to help seniors navigate communication tools and platforms such as messaging apps, video calling software, and social media networks. Volunteers can assist seniors in setting up accounts, learning how to send messages, make video calls, share photos, and connect with family and friends online. By empowering seniors to communicate effectively in the digital age, Senior Tech Helper enhances their quality of life and facilitates meaningful connections with others.
